Known to basketball fans as “The Kangaroo Kid,” Dad’s remarkable career included an NBA Championship as a player (1967), an NBA Championship as a coach (1983), and induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1986. While many remember his exceptional leaping ability, 4 NBA All-Star appearances, and his retired #32 jersey with the Philadelphia 76ers, I’m sharing a more personal perspective.
